Ever since I used to program ML (some 13 years ago) I've cursed the lack of some of ML's features in other non-functional languages. And now finally at least one feature got ported to C#: Tuples! Probably due to F#. Another nice feature coming up is the parallel class.

Windows 7 audio stutter
Today I finally managed to figure out the cause of my audio problems in Windows 7 that I've been having ever since I started using Windows 7.
The symptoms: After having the computer running for more than 24 hours without reboot the audio began to stutter, small clicks and interruptions when playing any audio no matter the source.
The cause: Protexis Licensing V2 Service (psiservice_2.exe), the licensing service that comes with a couple of Corel products, in my case Paint Shop Pro X2. Not sure if the same problem exists in all version of the service, but I've got V2.
